Mozzarella Sticks with Mutabal Dip
The smoky, fragrant flavour of this Middle Eastern aubergine dip goes perfectly with crisp and creamy mozzarella sticks.
Ingredients
3 Aviko Mozzarella Sticks
2 Aubergines
50ml Tahini
1 Tsp Salt
Juice of half a lemon
1 Clove garlic
1 Tbsp Zataar seasoning
1 Tbsp Pomegranate seeds
Method
- Slice aubergines in half and roast for 40 minutes until slightly charred
- Scoop out flesh and combine with garlic, salt, tahini and lemon juice then blend until smooth
- Cook Aviko Mozzarella Sticks as per packet
- Serve Mutabal dip topped with Mozzarella sticks, then sprinkle with zataar and pomegranate
