Cookies
We use cookies on our website in order for it to function properly, but also for analytical purposes. We explain below which cookies we use and why we use them. If you require further information about cookies, please read our Cookie Policy.
Google Analytics
AVIKO United Kingdom uses Google Analytics from Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, in order to gain an insight into and to optimise website use. Google Analytics cookies store visitors’ pseudonymised personal data in Google Analytics. Pseudonymised personal data are: location, operating system, browser, device type (tablet, mobile or desktop), pages viewed, how the user enters the website and use duration. The information the cookie produces about your website use is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Because IP anonymisation is activated on this website, Google will first abbreviate your IP address within European Union Member States or in other states that are signatories to the European Economic Area Treaty. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there.
The data is processed on the basis of the user’s consent (Art. 6 no. 1 a GDPR).
The data recipient is Google, as the processor. AVIKO United Kingdom has a processing agreement with Google Analytics to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality for your personal data.
Personal data is transmitted to the USA. Currently there is no European Commission adequacy decision with the USA. We have, however, concluded standard contractual clauses with Google LLC that should ensure an adequate level of data security.
The data will be erased as soon as it is no longer required for our tracking purposes.
You provide your personal data voluntarily, solely on the basis of your consent. If you prevent access, this may cause the website functionality to be limited.
You can prevent the cookies being placed by an appropriate setting in your browser software; we would like to point out, however, that in this case you may not be able to use all this website’s functions to the full extent. You can also prevent collection of the data generated by the cookie relating to your use of the website (including your IP address), and processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available from the following link: browser add-on to deactivate Google Analytics.
You can prevent tracking by Google Analytics on our pages in addition or as an alternative to the browser add-on by clicking on this link. This will install an opt-out cookie on your device. As long as the cookie is installed on your browser it will prevent Google Analytics capturing data for this website and browser in future.

Furthermore, our website uses other services from the Google Marketing Platform (formerly “Google Doubleclick”). These services install cookies in order to insert advertisements relevant to the user, to improve reports on campaign performance, or to prevent a user being shown the same advertisements several times.
Use of Facebook components
We use components from the provider Facebook.com on our website. Facebook is a service provided by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA.
Each time you load one of our pages that is equipped with such a component, this component causes your browser to download a corresponding representation of the Facebook component. This process notifies Facebook precisely of which of our Internet presence pages you are visiting at that moment.
If you visit our page and are logged in to Facebook at the same time, Facebook learns from the information collected by the components, which specific page you are visiting and allocates this information to your personal Facebook account. If, for example, you click the “Like” button, or make a corresponding comment, this information is transmitted to your personal user account on Facebook and stored there. Furthermore, the information that you have visited our website is passed on to Facebook. This takes place regardless of whether you click on the component or not.
If you want to prevent Facebook’s transmission and storage of this data about you and your behaviour on our website, you must log out of Facebook before you visit our website. Facebook’s data privacy policy provides more information about this, in particular Facebook’s collection and use of the data, your rights in this regard and the settings options for protecting your privacy https://www.facebook.com/privacy/explanation/

If you are sure that we have collected personal data about (a) minor(s) without this consent, please contact us using the contact information at the end of this Data Privacy Policy.
