Five-Spiced Duck Breast Loaded Fries
Skinny SuperCrunch Fries layered with spicy chilli and sesame mayo, crispy pan-fried duck fillet, spring onions, coriander and crispy chilli in oil make for a luxurious and indulgent dish.
Ingredients
1 Duck Breast
2 tsp Five-spice powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1 Red chilli
1 Spring onion
1 tbsp Coriander leaves (finely chopped)
Lime wedges
1 tbsp Crispy chilli in oil
Chilli Mayo
15g Mayonnaise
1 tbsp Crispy chilli in oil
1 Tsp sesame oil
Method
- Score the duck skin and then rub all over with salt and five-spice powder
- Place duck skin side down in a cold frying pan and then bring up to a medium heat, once skin is browned and crispy (5-7 minutes) then turn heat down slightly, flip duck over and continue to cook for a further 3-5 minutes
- Once rested slice duck, it should be slightly pink in the middle
- Cook SuperCrunch Fries as per packet instruction
- Thinly slice red chilli and spring onion then toss with fries
- Mix together chilli mayo ingredients
- To serve lay duck breast on fries then top with crispy chilli, chilli mayo, coriander leaves and finish with wedges of lime
